Three new directors have joined CDSPG's board for terms beginning June 2016. Welcome Angella Brock, treasurer; David Wizer, member at large; and Halie Bassett, student board member.
Angella Brock is Founder & Managing Director of Brock Global Advisors Ltd, and a Founding Partner at Soltas Capital LLC. Angella has 20+ years of corporate and entrepreneurial business building successes. Angella is from a large Washington DC area family and is Guardian for the past 13 years to her 51 year old brother. An avid sailor, she travels often for pleasure as well as business.
David Wizer is a faculty member in the College of Education at Towson U. teaching courses and completing research in the areas of instructional technology, online education, diversity and universal design for learning. David is the organizer of the local D.A.D.S. group and informally organizes a special interest group on accessibility at Towson University. He is a parent to a child with Down syndrome.
Halie Bassett is a student at Loyola University in Baltimore majoring in speech pathology and audiology. She is a leader of Loyola's Down Syndrome Young Leadership Committee. She will be working with the board to help increase and coordinate student volunteerism.
