In Fall 2021, CDSPG is embarking on an exciting partnership with a local University to bring speech therapy to its families by way of its SLP graduate program.

- program is for all ages of CDSPG families, whether actively engaging in speech therapy and seeking supplemental support, or looking for sole speech therapy services

- this is free for families

- services will be provided via telehealth under direction of a Howard University SLP program supervisor and licensed clinician

This is a win-win-win opportunity: 

- Our families advocate to SLP students about real life with Down syndrome

- Our families help students learn how to best deliver services by telehealth

- Our families receive free speech and communication support
