Paid Research Study - individuals with disabilities, age 16+

Do you sometimes have a difficult time using computers due to a disability?

If this sounds like you, the Trace Center is looking for participants in our PAID RESEARCH STUDY. We want to hear what you think about Morphic, the computer program we created to make computers easier to use!

DEADLINE: The study will accept participants until July 17, 2020.

As a participant, you will take part in individual or group interviews and will be expected to use Morphic throughout your participation in the study.

You may be interviewed 1-2 times per month over a span of 3-4 months maximum. You will receive $30 cash or gift card per hour every time you participate in an interview.

Any data that we collect is encrypted and password protected.

Only the researchers on the project will see your data.

Any paper documents will be kept in a locked cabinet.

Data will be deleted at the end of the study.

To be eligible to participate, you must:

1. Have experienced frustration or difficulty while using PCs

2. You identify as having a disability

3. Be 16 years old or older. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must sign the consent form on your behalf. You must have a computer that meets the following specifications so that Morphic can be installed. We can help you determine if your computer will work for this project.

Your computer needs to:

1. Have at least 1GB of space on your hard drive and have permission to install software

2. Be a Windows 10 computer (version 1803 or newer)

3. Have Microsoft Word installed on it (version 2016 or newer)

4. Have internet access capable of conducting web conferencing video calls for the remote installation and interview
